Marafiki is a group of friends who have been playing rock and jazz music together for over 15 years.
Their music has been featured on Spotify’s State of Jazz playlist and they have opened for bands such as Goose, Consider the Source and Yak Attack.
Events and Installations
GLDN MILL
In October of 2018, the art collective GLDN produced a pop-up event series in the historic 3000 sqft Golden Mill. With 20+ artists, two stages and one bar, we transformed the space into an immersive and engaging installation.
GLDN GRDN
During the summer of 2019, the art collective GLDN built an installation at a park in downtown Golden with musical instruments for visitors to play. The instruments housed speakers that would play various songs with the push of a button for visitors to play along with.
